Chapter 73: Kotone’s Kidnapping
Kotone Tomi is a pretty and innocent looking girl with long black hair and a green blazer that fits her uniform well.
But he’s a dangerous boy.
Kotone hates her half-sister Rei.
Rei’s mother stole Kotone’s father, and they both died in an accident after an affair.
And Kotone tried to harm Rei.
Kotone lives in the main house now and we live in a separate house, so even though we’re very close, it’s not someone I’d want to get close to.
Kotone took her eyes off Rei and Kaho in their underwear and turned to me.
I’m not here for you or Sasaki. I’m here for you. Will you come?
“Yes. Besides, if we leave you in this room, you’re going to get your sisters pregnant before you know it.”
Rei and Kaho both turned red and said “I won’t!” But Kotone didn’t seem to mind at all and grabbed my hand.
I didn’t expect them to hold hands, so I looked at Kotone’s face in surprise, and she smiled mysteriously and said, “Now let’s talk alone…” She said.
I have no idea what Kotone is thinking.
We went out the front door of the villa and out the gate of the villa.
The winter sky was already completely dark, and there were only a few electric lights around.
Kotone and I are going down the slope that leads from the front of the mansion.
We soon came to a busy prefectural road.
The only thing is that only cars come and go, and there are hardly any pedestrians.
Kotone walks a little ahead of me, pulling my hand.
“I thought you didn’t want to hold hands with me, but…”
“I don’t like you but I don’t have any bad thoughts about you. Besides, did you see the look on your sister’s face when I held hands with you?”
I shook my head.
Rei looked very complicated, her blue eyes downcast.
Kotone laughed merrily.
“She’s jealous. Because he held hands with another girl. I’m happy just to see that frustrated look on your face.”
“That’s not why you took me out, is it?”
“Yes. But I’m sure you’re still thinking that it’s just the two of us.”
I thought that “getting in trouble” was not an expression I used very often, but I didn’t say it out loud.
The question was what Kotone wanted.
“Why don’t you choose Sasaki-san?”
What do you mean?
“Natsuho Sasaki is your senior’s childhood friend, and you like her, don’t you? And senpai likes you too, doesn’t she?”
“Yeah. I… I liked Kaho.”
“But you didn’t choose Sasaki-san because you like her?”
“It’s… It could be.”
“It’s not going to boil over.”
“I think so, too.”
“I’d like you to choose Sasaki-san for senpai.”
“You’re saying that because you don’t like Rei-san, right?”
“Yes. Well, in that sense, it doesn’t have to be you. It could be me, for example. I’m just as pretty as you, right?”
His big, dark eyes sparkled jokingly.
She’s a beautiful girl and her manners are refined.
She’s got the kind of atmosphere that would convince people that she’s an idol, and if she and Rei are good friends, they’d make a good picture together.
“I’m not interested in you, Tohmi-san.”
Tomi suddenly looked bored.
“Besides, Tohmi-san tried to hurt Rei-san, you know.”
“Yes, you’re right. Me and senior are enemies.”
“You’re sure you want to be walking around at night with this ‘enemy’ in such a deserted place?”
“Senior doesn’t have the guts to do anything to me, right?”
Well, I’m not gonna do anything about it.
Tomi looked straight at me.
Then suddenly a big wagon drives up behind us.
And it’s gonna stop by us.
We should’ve run right then and there.
But Kotone and I both looked at each other and wondered what was going on. We stopped.
Two strong-looking men get out of a wagon.
And he approaches Kotone.
Kotone looked frightened. and backed away, but the men twisted her hands up.
No! Get off of me!”
So this is the Lady of the Farseer. She’s quite pretty.
One of the guys grins and mumbles.
I rushed to help Kotone but the other guy stopped me easily.
This man had a calm voice.
“We don’t need this boy, but now that he’s seen us, we’ll kidnap the two of them together.”
Kotone has tears in her eyes.
I saw that Kotone’s thin, white neck was covered with a knife.
Come on, let’s get you in.
And so Kotone and I were both kidnapped.
